With the exception of Ebenezer Scrooge, each actor will portray multiple roles, offering performers the opportunity to showcase their versatility within the classic radio play format.  PWPT is committed to inclusive casting and welcomes performers of all backgrounds, identities, abilities, and experience levels to audition.  Gender-non traditional casting will be considered for roles.

 

  Casting 10 adults and two young performers (ages 9–13) for male and female roles.

 No preparation is necessary. Actors will read selections from the script at auditions.

If available, please bring a headshot and résumé.  Auditioners will be asked to provide all scheduling conflicts from late October through the performance dates.

 

No solo singing is required at auditions. The full ensemble will join together in a classic Christmas carol, sung in unison as part of the finale.

Tuesday, December 8 — Tech Rehearsal

Wednesday, December 9 — Second Tech Rehearsal

Thursday, December 10 — Dress Rehearsal

Friday, December 11 at 7:00 PM — Performance

Sunday, December 13 at 3:00 PM — Performance

Performances will be at The Port Washington Public Library in Port Washington, NY.  Rehearsals will be in Port Washington and will be generally twice a week in the evening (calls as needed/not all actors required for every rehearsal)​
